MilNet is a platform for licensed HAM Radio operators to connect their
military radios to a centralized worldwide network. The platform uses the popular
AllStarLink and EchoLink systems to bridge the gap between radios regardless of geography or band using Radio over IP (RoIP).
Once connected the Operator can converse with other military radio users anywhere in world using their HF, VHF or UHF military radio equipment.
This allows worldwide military and tactical radio communications between "green" radios, at ranges far in excess of the capabilities of the radios alone.
It also gives the operator the ability to converse over radio with users of the same make and model of radio equipment which would otherwise be very difficult in their local area.
